One week to go and I expect you are watching the weather like the Gala organisers.
Will the roses still be good in one week? Will I have enough sweetpeas?
Don't forget to send your entries in.
We will be at the Village Hall on Tuesday from 3pm until 7pm to receive entries, or email or post them.
Details of how to enter are on the Entry Form, only 50p per class for adults, free entry for Juniors.
The schedules are available in all the local places: Runcton Farm Shop, Manor Nursery, Brick Kiln Garden, St Stephen's Church. And you can down load details of the classes from here.
The long term weather forecast is looking good: warm and dry and no strong winds.

The Gala is on Saturday 12th July 2025 at the North Mundham Playing Field and Village Centre, PO20 1LA. It is a fun family afternoon which has is roots as a village event going back more than 130 years.
Annual Flower, Produce, Arts & Crafts Show
The Annual Flower, Produce, Arts & Crafts Show is taking place in the Village Hall and will have all the wonderful entries of fruit, vegetables, flowers, cookery, photography and arts and crafts. Schedules are available in the local shops and garden centres or you can download details of the classes and entry form from this website.
Dog Show
The Dog Show will start at 2.45pm and will be judged by Louise Judge of Dirty Dogz from Runcton.
The classes are:
- Small and Sassy (under 45cm tall)
- Big and beautiful (over 45cm tall)
- Waggiest tail
- Young handler (under 12 years)
Display of Vintage, Classic and Historic Vehicles
The display of Vintage, Classic and Historic Vehicles is an established part of the Gala and will be a feature again in 2025.
And all the usual fun of the Gala
Teas, Bouncy Castle, Community Corner, ice cream from Caroline's Dairy, raffle, tombola, Pegasus Pizzas, local produce, plants and cakes, table tennis, magic show, Children's Races, face painting, Market Place....
